About the Role

Interns will support engineering teams by assisting with research, development, and design activities, as well as preparing engineering drawings and related documents. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. • Support engineering teams with research, development, and design tasks. • Prepare engineering drawings and related documentation. • Perform basic engineering calculations and organize project information. • Apply fundamental geometric, algebraic, and shop‑drawing principles. • Follow direction from peers and supervisors.

What You Bring

Applicants must hold a High School Diploma or GED and be currently enrolled in an accredited post‑secondary engineering program. The role emphasizes basic engineering tasks that align with standard post‑secondary curricula. Candidates should understand basic engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles, be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, and be able to perform elementary engineering calculations. They must also be able to organize information for drawings, follow directions from supervisors, and grasp introductory shop‑drawing and submittal procedures. Preferred qualifications include at least two years of civil engineering coursework and experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation, as well as a strong interest in transportation and infrastructure. Demonstrated enthusiasm for the field will strengthen the application. • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. • Hold a High School Diploma/GED and be enrolled in an accredited engineering program. • Preferably have completed two years of civil engineering coursework and use AutoCAD or MicroStation.
