About the Role
Service Technicians diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on card access, CCTV, burglar alarm, electronic fire alarm systems, and related building system products at customer sites. They deliver the highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service‑related issues, acting as trusted advisors who provide solutions and outcomes during each visit. Technicians follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures, consult technical manuals and bulletins, and read blueprints, schematics, and specifications to repair equipment. They install and troubleshoot card access, CCTV, and alarm systems, document service acknowledgments via smartphones or laptops, obtain customer signatures, and remain available for on‑call emergency service. Additionally, they recommend improvements, provide quotes for upselling opportunities, and perform other assigned duties.

What You Bring
The role requires 1–3 years of documented experience with card access, CCTV, burglar alarm and fire systems, as well as familiarity with test equipment, multimeters and commissioning devices. Candidates must be able to install, inspect, repair and program these systems, read blueprints and product manuals, and perform physical labor including lifting up to 70 lb and working at heights or in confined spaces. Strong customer‑service skills, a valid driver’s license, ability to maintain truck inventory, adherence to safety guidelines, and a background/drug test clearance are also required, along with knowledge of NFPA standards and the ability to be on call every six weeks.
