About the Role
The current opening is for an HVAC Service Technician who will handle service work and site maintenance for national accounts. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, performing preventative maintenance, site surveys, and modifications as requested by customers. The technician will also prepare for installations, coordinate on‑site work, and ensure customer satisfaction. The position includes responsibilities such as inspecting and maintaining company vehicles and equipment, documenting all work, ordering parts, and providing technical support. Flexibility for overtime, weekend work, and regular travel—including occasional overnight trips—is required. • Service HVAC products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction. • Diagnose and repair units using hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications. • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed. • Prepare for installations by reviewing building layouts, gathering materials, and coordinating on‑site work. • Inspect and maintain company vehicles, keeping service records and ensuring cleanliness. • Inspect equipment for wear, notify customers or Operations Manager of findings. • Complete paperwork for each job, including time, progress, parts, labor, and cost data. • Provide technical support and interpret product specifications for customers.
