About the Role

• Advise clients on procurement strategies, prequalify vendors, assess proposals and bids, and make recommendations. • Lead bid interviews, manage appointment processes, and evaluate bid‑leveling documents. • Develop and review full‑project cost estimates, validate junior estimations, and present value‑engineering and risk assessments to clients. • Oversee cost reporting, forecasts, budget reviews, and maintain the commercial risk register. • Control payments by assessing applications, recommending contractor entitlements, and managing change orders and disputes. • Monitor invoicing, benchmark performance, and manage final accounting, post‑contract audits and close‑outs. • Conduct post‑contract reviews, capture lessons learned, and create training documentation. • Establish hand‑over procedures and utilize bid analysis, cost estimating and take‑off software. • Ensure compliance with SOX controls where applicable.

What You Bring

The firm is seeking a Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to support construction cost services for its clients. The role is hybrid, combining on‑site presence with remote work, and requires a candidate who embodies Turner & Townsend’s purpose and values. • Bachelor’s degree in construction, cost management, quantity surveying or related field. • 3‑5 years of cost management experience on medium to large construction projects; consultancy background preferred. • RICS accreditation or working towards it. • Strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management and engineering. • Excellent communication skills.
