About the Role

• Lead transport planning projects and proposals, providing both technical and commercial inputs. • Manage tasks within multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with other WSP service lines to deliver large projects from concept to delivery. • Support the acquisition and delivery of work for a diverse local client portfolio. • Conduct technical reviews and ensure quality of team deliverables. • Take responsibility for the financial performance of projects and contribute to the team's commercial success. • Develop junior team members as a People Manager or mentor, sharing knowledge and fostering growth. • Contribute actively to WSP's four key pillars: People, Clients & Growth, Operations, and Expertise. • Develop transport‑focused strategies, plans and policies. • Work effectively with Local Authority and Combined Authority clients. • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines. • Deliver presentations and engage with diverse audiences, including colleagues, public officials, and the public. • Apply commercial acumen to manage tasks and support broader team management, especially in guiding junior members.
