About the Role
The Porter/Yard Worker (Yard Associate) is responsible for positioning and retrieving equipment on site, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, and performing basic servicing to keep equipment within specifications. They also inspect tools before and after each rental, documenting any loss or damage.

What You Bring
Successful candidates typically hold a high school diploma or GED and have hands‑on experience with common construction or industrial tools, as well as some background in mechanical repair. The role requires strong communication skills, basic arithmetic, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. A general mechanical aptitude, a focus on safety, and the ability to speak Spanish or another language when needed are also valued. Physical demands include frequent bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 lb or more, with work performed both indoors and outdoors as required. • High school diploma or GED preferred • Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred • Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred • Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral) • Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide) • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc) • General mechanical aptitude • Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs
