About the Role
The Maintenance Technician assists with corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic maintenance, supports the make‑ready process, and works under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to achieve the property’s operational objectives. • Attend the community site daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic repairs in common areas, buildings and units. • Assist with scheduling and execution of turn‑over maintenance events and unit make‑ready processes. • Maintain exterior grounds, breezeways, and swimming pool, including accurate chemical logs. • Conduct daily inspections to identify and correct hazardous conditions or liability concerns. • Follow Asset Living policies, OSHA and EPA standards; keep the maintenance shop organized and stocked. • Support the hazard communications program and promote safe work practices. • Accurately track service requests, preventative maintenance, inventory, and make‑ready status. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround, and enforce community policies. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and perform additional tasks as assigned. • Maintain reliable transportation for emergency on‑call duties.

What You Bring
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; possess basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA requirements. • Capable of lifting 100 + lb., climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and operating in various weather conditions.

Benefits
Compensation includes an hourly rate of $25‑$27, a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401 K match), paid sick days, company holidays, and potential performance bonuses.
