About the Role
The Scheduler is responsible for managing time and resources to ensure projects finish on schedule. Working collaboratively with project teams, the Scheduler creates detailed timetables, refines scheduling processes, coordinates across Operations, and develops critical paths while highlighting and mitigating risks. • Coordinate with architects, consultants, suppliers, project managers, and superintendents to ensure smooth project execution. • Work with preconstruction teams during proposals, bidding, and estimating to develop well‑sequenced work activities. • Support project managers in preparing scope, budget, and schedule documents. • Align scheduling efforts with marketing, high‑performance, and virtual construction teams to reflect company mission. • Create high‑level master schedules and detailed timetables for entire projects. • Lead meetings and conduct job walks to update construction schedules and provide regular progress updates. • Identify project risks, perform impact analysis, and devise work‑around solutions. • Collaborate with the Project Director on staffing requirements to ensure adequate resources. • Track critical activities and monitor changes to the critical path. • Monitor program milestones and interdependencies across the project. • Establish key performance metrics, analyze delays using industry‑accepted methods, and report findings. • Provide timely information on items impacting the project schedule. • Offer technical support for claims litigation related to schedule issues. • Document schedule changes and maintain standardized job files. • Educate team members on project sequencing and schedule logic. • Develop and lead internal training on schedule development, management, and relevant software tools.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or a related field and brings at least five years of scheduling experience on mid‑large commercial projects. Strong knowledge of construction systems, trade sequencing, and scheduling software is required, along with excellent communication, relationship‑building skills, and a detail‑oriented, collaborative mindset. PMI or AACEI certification is preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred. • Minimum five years of experience scheduling mid‑large scale commercial construction projects. • Strong understanding of construction systems and trade sequencing. • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships. • Experience in industrial, healthcare, K‑12, or higher education construction is a plus. • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. • Proficient with scheduling software, including cost‑loaded scheduling; ASTA preferred. • Capability to conduct technical schedule reviews and analysis. • Highly detail‑oriented. • PMI or AACEI certification preferred.
