About the Role
As a Consultant you will lead technical healthcare planning in system and hospital design projects, win new commissions, and ensure projects are delivered successfully for both client and Mott MacDonald. You will oversee Project Managers, mentor team members and maintain client trust to achieve technical, commercial and financial success. • Lead technical healthcare planning components for system and hospital redesign projects. • Win and secure new project commissions through pre‑positioning and bidding. • Deliver projects to achieve technical, commercial and financial success while meeting client‑defined benefits. • Implement delivery strategies, manage contracts, risks and budgets, and actively control change. • Engage with clients, manage relationships and guide delivery teams to meet scope, schedule and budget. • Conduct formal project governance, review lessons learned, assess structure and mitigate risks. • Uphold Mott MacDonald’s global health, safety and welfare standards on all projects.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a degree or Masters (or equivalent) and have NHS or healthcare consultancy experience, particularly in facility planning, with a proven record of delivering complex projects on time and budget. Required skills include problem‑solving, report‑writing, business‑development, client‑facing experience and strong interpersonal abilities; overseas experience is desirable. • Hold a degree or Masters (or equivalent) with NHS or healthcare consultancy experience in facility planning. • Demonstrated track record delivering complex healthcare projects on time and within budget. • Strong problem‑solving, report‑writing and business‑development abilities, including client‑facing experience. • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work autonomously or collaboratively. • Desirable: overseas experience.
