About the Role
• Efficiently produce quality deliverables while meeting budget and schedules on multiple concurrent projects. • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees. • Participates in the design of new bridges as well as bridges to be rehabilitated. • Be involved in all project aspects including inspection/load-rating/design, site/field visits during construction, shop drawing review, and be able to work independently. • Participate in the production of project plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates.

What You Bring
• Professional Engineer License (Louisiana) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience working with complex software such as MDX, MIDAS, LUSAS, AASHTOWare, Bentley Bridge Design Software, LARSA, etc. • Working knowledge of MicroStation • Experience using computer assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design documents • Ability to provide QA/QC on design calculations, design plans, inspection report, load rating calculations and reports etc. • BS or MS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. • Ability to supervise and mentor entry level staff and be responsible for entry level staff job tasks. • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word and Excel • 5 or more years of Bridge Design, Bridge Rehabilitation Design, Inspection, and Load Rating experience
