Programme Lead - Environmental

About the Role

• Coordinate and deliver a major programme, providing strategic direction and monitoring alignment with vision and objectives. • Define and implement the programme delivery environment, covering people, organization, processes, information, and technology. • Assemble and lead the right project team with required skills, experience, and external specialist support. • Optimize resources and improve performance against the bid baseline through monitoring and evaluation of activities and methodologies. • Act as the programme’s public face, engaging external stakeholders and chairing executive steering group meetings. • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, cost, sustainability, governance, risk, stakeholder management, and compliance. • Oversee creation and upkeep of programme documentation, including plans, reports, registers, and lessons learned. • Foster a high‑performing, inclusive team environment that encourages contribution and recognition. • Align the programme with the wider business strategy and promote related initiatives. • Ensure commercial and ethical viability, supporting business objectives and meeting legislative compliance. • Create opportunity – champion continuous improvement and inspire people to excel.
