Biostatistician I
Provide statistical support for NAMRU-SA research projects, including design, SAS analysis, and QC.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Support Principal Investigators in writing proposals, IACUC/IRB protocols, manuscripts, and technical reports. • Develop scientifically sound study designs and compose statistical sections of research documents. • Generate datasets, tables, figures, and listings using SAS or approved statistical software. • Perform quality control checks and resolve complex SAS programming issues. • Conduct sample size and power calculations and select appropriate statistical tests. • Verify and assist with statistical analyses in presentations, manuscripts, and grant documents. • Ensure timely completion of statistical activities for studies.

What You Bring
• Hold a Master’s degree in Biostatistics or related field with at least one year of research experience. • Demonstrate proficiency in SAS or other approved statistical programming tools. • Exhibit strong communication skills for supporting research documentation.
