About the Role
Key responsibilities include operating a variety of heavy‑equipment, following safety regulations, maintaining a clean work area, performing routine maintenance, monitoring equipment for malfunctions, and adhering to work plans and pre‑task cards. • Operate blade • Operate dozer • Operate forklift/telehandler • Operate crane • Operate bobcat/skid‑steer • Operate boom lifts/aerial lifts • Follow prescribed safety regulations • Maintain clear and orderly housekeeping in assigned area • Perform routine maintenance (lubricating, fueling, cleaning) • Observe equipment operation to detect malfunctions • Follow work plans and pre‑task cards • Maintain detail orientation • Read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and load charts • Apply basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication) • Build strong cross‑cultural relationships and influence at all organizational levels
