About the Role
The Project Manager will guide teams in creating project design packages, define scope, schedules, milestones, and resource needs, and coordinate daily activities with internal staff, clients, vendors, and contractors. They will monitor progress using key performance indicators, manage risks, support budget tracking, and maintain comprehensive project documentation while upholding ethical standards and WSP’s Code of Conduct. • Lead design projects for Federal clients (DoD, USACE, MDA, NAVFAC). • Develop design packages: scope, schedule, milestones, resources. • Coordinate daily activities with internal teams, clients, vendors, contractors. • Monitor progress, track KPIs, identify risks, report to senior leadership. • Assist with budget management: track expenses and review cost estimates. • Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports. • Ensure ethical decision‑making and compliance with WSP policies.

WSP is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Boise, ID office to lead engineering and design projects for US government and military clients, including the Department of Defense, US Army Corps of Engineers, Missile Defense Agency, and Navy Facilities Command. The role involves overseeing both large and mid‑sized, multidisciplinary projects simultaneously. Candidates must have at least 10 years of post‑degree experience in architecture, engineering, or construction, a bachelor's degree in engineering, and a PE or PMP certification. Additional requirements include 3–5 years managing Federal design projects, US citizenship, the ability to work on‑site in Boise, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant design software. • Minimum 10 years experience in architecture, engineering, or construction. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering; PE or PMP certification required. • 3–5 years managing Federal design projects for MDA, USACE, NAVFAC. • US citizenship required; on‑site work in Boise office mandatory. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with design/engineering software preferred. • Strong organizational, time‑management, and safety compliance skills.
