About the Role

The supervisor will lead armed Security Officers, control site access by monitoring surveillance systems, inspecting vehicles, and verifying identification, and conduct patrols on foot, bike, or vehicle. They will respond to emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, bomb threats, and hazardous materials in accordance with the Use of Force Policy, while observing and reporting suspicious activity. Additionally, they will enforce post orders, company and customer rules, maintain proficiency with equipment and weapons, complete mandatory training, and act as a resource for managers and employees to improve program performance and stakeholder relationships. • Lead and supervise armed security officers during shift operations. • Control site access through surveillance monitoring, vehicle inspections, and ID verification. • Conduct foot, bike, or vehicle patrols and respond to emergencies per Use of Force policy. • Report incidents and maintain proficiency with security equipment and weapons. • Enforce post orders, company policies, and facility regulations. • Complete mandatory training and annual recertification programs. • Build and maintain relationships with customers and other stakeholders.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of related physical security experience, or a high school diploma plus four years of equivalent experience, along with a minimum of two years in a supervisory or leadership role. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required, as well as an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, and the ability to pass a physical fitness test and firearms qualification. Preferred qualifications include four or more years as an armed security guard, two years managing a team of ten or more employees, and experience in law enforcement, corrections, or the military. Experience working at a sensitive or secure site and a demonstrated ability to mentor and coach staff are also valued. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 2+ years of security experience. • Possess 2+ years of supervisory experience and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. • Pass physical fitness test and meet firearms qualification standards. • Desired: 4+ years as an armed guard, 2+ years managing 10+ staff, law enforcement/military background, and experience at sensitive sites.
