About the Role

The Maintenance Technician supports the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager by performing corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic maintenance, handling make‑ready processes, and ensuring community safety and resident satisfaction. • Attend the site daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance tasks, including swimming‑pool care and chemical logging. • Conduct daily inspections of grounds, buildings, and community features to identify and correct hazards. • Support make‑ready and turn‑over events, ensuring units are prepared for new occupants. • Maintain a well‑organized, stocked maintenance shop while adhering to OSHA safety standards. • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with inventory monitoring, hazard communication, and safety training. • Keep accurate records of service requests, preventive‑maintenance schedules, EPA/OSHA compliance, and make‑ready status. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround, and uphold community policies. • Participate in on‑call emergency response as needed.

What You Bring

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA, physical ability to lift 100 lb objects, climb ladders, work overtime and be on‑call, and reliable transportation. • Meet physical requirements: lift/move 100 lb items, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and operate power tools. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer proficiency; understand Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. • Possess reliable transportation for emergency on‑call duties.
