About the Role

The Trailer Product Manager role is a high‑visibility position within the Carrier Transicold truck‑trailer organization, responsible for the largest product line. The manager oversees all aspects of the trailer product and its support functions, both internally and externally, ensuring alignment with the organization’s objectives. • Develop and execute short- and long-term product and component strategies. • Collaborate with program management and marketing on new product introductions. • Manage product lifecycle, including obsolescence planning. • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets. • Monitor regulatory environment to ensure product compliance. • Benchmark competitor equipment and develop sales communication tools. • Create sales and promotional materials with marketing resources. • Lead customer visits, presentations, and high‑level product introductions. • Deliver presentations and media interviews at trade shows and panels. • Support Carrier’s sales force, field service engineers, and dealer network with applications and sales efforts. • Respond promptly to customer inquiries.

What You Bring

• Travel 20–25% across the US and Canada. • Bachelor’s degree required. • 10+ years in a technical environment with product development, engineering, or technical operations experience. • Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and project‑management abilities. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for media, presentations, and sales training. • MBA preferred. • Fluency in Spanish desirable.
