About the Role

The role requires identifying required tools, evaluating safety hazards, and taking appropriate precautions. Candidates will measure, mark, and cut materials to specifications, help build and reinforce pre‑constructed scaffolds, construct additional wooden structures such as decks, steps, and bulletin boards, and keep work areas clean. • Identify and gather all tools needed for each task. • Assess safety risks and implement required precautions. • Measure, mark, and cut wood or metal to specifications. • Construct, reinforce, and dismantle pre‑built scaffolds. • Build auxiliary wooden structures such as decks, steps, and bulletin boards. • Maintain clean work areas after tasks. • Provide required personal tools: metal toolbox, leather gloves, tape measure, shot saw, scaffold wrench, assorted wrenches, tool pouch, steel claw hammer, torpedo level.

ZACHRY is hiring an experienced Industrial Multi‑Craft for EXXON in Beaumont, Texas, with no per‑diem provided. The position of Industrial Scaffold Builder involves assisting in the construction, dismantling, and repair of wooden and metal scaffolds as well as related auxiliary structures. Applicants must possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities, be willing to support other crafts, meet all physical demands, and adhere strictly to safety and site regulations. Reliable transportation, required personal tools, a valid driver’s license, TWIC card, and the NCCER Industrial Scaffold Builder certification are mandatory. Essential personal protective equipment includes a hard hat, safety glasses or goggles, hearing protection, respirator, flame‑resistant clothing, gloves, and leather work boots. Required tools are a metal toolbox with lock, leather gloves, tape measure, shot saw, scaffold wrench, assorted wrenches, tool pouch, steel claw hammer, and torpedo level, and the employee must complete pre‑employment physicals, pulmonary testing, background check, and safety training. • Hold NCCER Industrial Scaffold Builder certification. • Possess a valid driver’s license and TWIC card. • Wear required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, respirator, flame‑resistant clothing, gloves, leather work boots. • Complete pre‑employment physical, pulmonary function test, and background check. • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lb, stand, walk, bend, squat, and work at heights with fall protection.
