About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for end‑to‑end delivery of infrastructure projects, managing safety, scope, schedule, cost, risk, and stakeholder outcomes within Transgrid’s Project Management Framework. You will operate in complex delivery environments, collaborating closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams on greenfield and brownfield projects of varying scale and complexity, providing meaningful challenges and development opportunities. • Lead project delivery from planning through to completion • Manage contractors, consultants and internal delivery teams • Maintain strong governance, reporting and assurance disciplines • Manage budgets, contracts and commercial outcomes • Identify, manage and mitigate delivery and safety risks • Coordinate interfaces across multiple workstreams and stakeholders • Ensure compliance with Transgrid safety, quality and regulatory frameworks

The role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio, including synchronous condenser projects, the Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone, and data‑centre connections and network augmentations, each varying in lifecycle stage and delivery environment. • A tertiary qualification in Electrical/Civil Engineering or a related discipline • Proven experience delivering capital infrastructure projects • Strong commercial and contract management capability • Confidence operating in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
