About the Role
The Director of Plant Operations for Silent‑Aire will oversee end‑to‑end multi‑site manufacturing, driving safety, quality, delivery and cost performance. The role is accountable for daily operational results as well as long‑term transformation across the assigned plants. Success depends on building high‑performing teams, simplifying processes and partnering with cross‑functional groups. • Plan and execute production schedules, optimizing shift configurations, labor allocation and capacity. • Ensure uninterrupted material flow by coordinating with Procurement, Inventory and Logistics. • Maintain plant facility readiness, including security, fire protection, preventive maintenance and housekeeping. • Lead a safety‑first culture, enforce OHS/OSHA compliance and drive 5S/visual‑management standards. • Build and develop an operations leadership team; partner with HR for workforce planning, recruitment and talent development. • Identify and implement cost, productivity and quality improvement initiatives and standardize best practices. • Resolve escalated customer issues quickly, conduct root‑cause analysis and communicate transparently. • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain on forecast alignment, design‑for‑manufacture and launch readiness. • Champion daily management systems, standard work, visual performance boards and waste elimination. • Coaching, talent development and building effective teams.

What You Bring
• Own daily, weekly and monthly SQDC performance with tiered reporting and problem‑solving. • Minimum 10 years manufacturing/operations experience, with at least 5 years leading multi‑department plant teams. • Technical, engineering or business degree; advanced degree preferred. • Proven ability to deliver SQDC results, manage budgets and meet on‑time delivery targets. • Deep knowledge of OHS/OSHA regulations and a strong safety mindset. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to interpret financial statements and KPIs. • Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma training and experience leading Lean initiatives preferred. • Experience with manufacturing engineering collaboration and ERP/MRP systems. • Strategic and systems thinking with high decision quality. • Data‑driven problem solving and continuous‑improvement orientation. • Strong stakeholder management, accountability and results focus. • Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
