• Install, troubleshoot, and optimize Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems on customer sites. • Serve as the local technical contact, providing effective solutions for complex system issues. • Deliver turnkey projects, ensuring proper operation of controls, sensors, and software. • Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports, and manage time to maintain customer satisfaction. • Document project status and provide site‑specific training to owners and operators.

What You Bring
The HVAC Controls Technician role is essential to Automated Logic's field commissioning of custom building automation systems. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and customer‑focused, acting as a technical expert and mentor for less experienced field engineers while delivering complex solutions on medium to large projects. • High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years in building automation, HVAC, or a related technical field. • Ability to climb ladders or use lift equipment over 8 feet and lift items up to 50 lbs. • Valid driver’s license and meet company insurance requirements. • Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree, certifications in HVAC/Controls, and proficiency with WebCTRL or similar automation software. • Expertise with TCP/IP networks, including wireless technology, and ability to integrate across diverse automation platforms. • Strong communication skills for presenting technical information to non‑technical audiences. • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
