Delivery Project Engineer
Manage end-to-end delivery of civil road improvement projects.

About the Role
The purpose of these positions is to manage the end‑to‑end delivery of a rolling program of civil improvement projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved in line with agreed scope, program, budget, and client expectations. This includes overseeing all stages of the project lifecycle—from planning and approvals, delivery readiness, and utility coordination, through to construction delivery, project completion, and handover. • Deliver project milestones according to approved schedules and contracts • Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes and short‑term look‑ahead schedules • Plan and execute construction staging, sequencing and methodologies to optimise delivery • Monitor project costs, prepare monthly cost reports and forecasts • Identify, assess and support preparation of contractual claims, variations, extensions of time and delay claims • Implement and maintain quality assurance systems, including ITPs, checklists and project records • Participate in regular client and internal team meetings to ensure alignment • Manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors to meet programme, quality and safety goals

What You Bring
Due to continued growth, we have two Delivery Project Engineer roles available within our Sydney Roads and Asset Performance portfolio. These roles suit engineers with hands‑on experience across civil disciplines such as pavements, barrier systems, earthworks, utility relocations, and working in live traffic environments. If you are looking for your next career move, this could be the opportunity for you. • Mix of office collaboration, site visits and 1 day WFH (post‑probation) • Consistently achieve strong risk and SHEQ performance • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline • Proven experience in road and transport construction • Experience working under TfNSW contracts and specifications (highly regarded) • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or delivery role • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Well‑developed analytical skills with a strategic, solution‑focused mindset • Current General Construction Induction (White) Card • Valid driver’s licence
