About the Role
• Report to the worksite on time and ready to work • Apply electrical and construction principles to solve design and modification problems • Perform installations in compliance with NEC and local codes • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety programs • Meet daily commitments and stay on schedule as directed by the foreman • Load materials, dig trenches, pull wire, and assist with various site tasks • Treat customers, trades, vendors, and coworkers with respect and dignity • Keep the job site clean and organized throughout the workday • Complete required paperwork, including timecards, promptly • Supervise and hold helpers/apprentices accountable to safety standards • Troubleshoot common electrical systems such as services, feeders, and branch circuits • Plan installations to minimize waste, facilitate future maintenance, and avoid hazards • Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to ensure proper concealed wiring placement • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install conduit • Splice, strip, and terminate wires using appropriate methods • Connect wiring to lighting fixtures, power equipment, and control devices • Install switches, relays, circuit‑breaker panels, and grounding leads • Observe equipment operation to detect hazards and perform adjustments or replacements • Repair faulty equipment or systems and execute small electrical projects • Travel to job sites as required

What You Bring
The current opening is for a Licensed Journeyman Electrician who will install electrical systems on commercial construction sites and small‑to‑medium projects. The electrician will supervise helper or apprentice electricians, maintain customer relations, and ensure work complies with national and local codes. • High school diploma or GED required • Minimum four years of electrical project installation experience • Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license with a clear driving record • Reliable personal transportation • Applicable state electrical certification • Advanced electrical knowledge and ability to use hand tools • Ability to work with hands and multitask
