About the Role
The Maintenance Technician B works under the guidance of a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager to repair and maintain diesel and non‑diesel equipment and trucks. Responsibilities include work on chassis components, vehicle refuse bodies, control systems, hydraulics, electrical, air brakes, engines, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain, and steering, as well as basic tire service. The role involves preventative and corrective maintenance both on‑site and on the road, including welding, fabrication, and diagnosing malfunctions with electronic tools. Technicians ensure equipment returns to safe operation and complete required company training. • Maintain and repair highly intricate and powerful machinery • Work a regular shift in a stable industry

What You Bring
Applicants need at least one year of technician experience with gasoline and diesel equipment, or be graduating from an accredited automotive program within three months. A valid driver’s license is required; ASE certifications, a commercial driver’s license, and prior work on Class 1‑5 or Class 7‑8 trucks are preferred.
