About the Role
In this role you will oversee the entire project lifecycle—from kickoff to closeout—manage hydraulic modeling and technical workstreams, and coordinate a cross‑functional team of local and national experts. You will also serve as the primary client liaison, shaping capture strategies, writing technical sections, and leading proposal development to grow the planning practice. Clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulators will be essential to translate technical findings into actionable planning decisions. • Lead integrated water and wastewater master planning studies for municipal and county utilities across Florida. • Manage hydraulic modeling and technical workstreams supporting utility design projects. • Coordinate cross‑functional teams of planning, funding, design, and treatment experts. • Serve as primary client‑facing project manager, delivering credible proposals and RFQ responses. • Build and maintain relationships with Florida utility clients and industry organizations. • Mentor junior staff and provide senior technical direction to ensure quality and consistency. • Translate technical findings into actionable planning decisions for clients, stakeholders, and regulators. • Participate in a comprehensive benefits package supporting health, retirement, and work‑life balance.

What You Bring
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering and an active Professional Engineer license (or ability to obtain Florida licensure within six months). Candidates need at least eight years of experience, including independent decision‑making on engineering problems, and proven project‑management delivery of hydraulic modeling or utility master‑planning work. Preferred qualifications include established relationships with Florida utility clients, hands‑on experience with Autodesk, Bentley, or Aquanuity platforms, and the ability to integrate GIS data into planning workflows. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering and an active PE license (or obtain Florida licensure within 6 months). • Bring at least 8 years of experience delivering hydraulic modeling or utility master‑planning projects. • Preferred: established relationships with Florida utility clients, hands‑on experience with Autodesk/Bentley/Aquanuity, and GIS integration expertise.
