About the Role
• Operate equipment including blade, dozer, loader, scraper, forklift/telehandler, crane, bobcat/skid‑steer, boom lifts, roller, backhoe, and track crane. • Follow prescribed safety regulations and maintain orderly housekeeping. • Perform routine maintenance, monitor equipment operation, and detect malfunctions. • Follow work plans and pre‑task cards. • Build relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.

What You Bring
Mortenson is currently seeking an Operator who will operate equipment as directed and comply with all safety policies and procedures. Candidates must hold required equipment certifications, have at least one year of related experience, a valid driver’s license with proper endorsements, and demonstrate teamwork, a positive attitude, strong customer service, and the ability to read safety and operating manuals. Mortenson is an equal opportunity employer and requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. • Hold required equipment certifications. • Minimum one year of related experience. • Current driver’s license with proper classification and necessary endorsements. • Strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, professional customer service skills, and attention to detail. • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and load charts. • Proficient in operating equipment controls and possess basic mathematical skills. • Capable of independent work with active listening and effective communication, open to diverse input and feedback. • Ability to perform repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements; lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lb (over 50 lb with assistance).
