About the Role
Key duties include conducting thorough inspections of construction work to verify compliance with design, safety, and regulatory requirements. You will monitor progress, identify quality issues, and recommend corrective actions while inspecting materials and workmanship for conformance. Documentation of inspections, daily and safety reports, and quality control checks must be maintained. Coordination with construction teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders ensures smooth execution of QA/QC processes and site safety. • Conduct inspections to verify compliance with design specs, safety standards, and regulations. • Monitor work progress, identify quality issues, and recommend corrective actions. • Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet required standards. • Document inspections, daily reports, safety reports, and quality control checks. • Coordinate QA/QC processes with construction teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders. • Manage site safety by enforcing safety protocols. • Assist with testing and commissioning to confirm functionality before handover.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector for its Qatar operations. The inspector will oversee and ensure the quality and compliance of construction activities, helping the project stay on schedule, within budget, and meet required standards. This role reports on progress and coordinates quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and brings at least 10 years of QA/QC inspection experience, including five years in a consultancy on large‑scale infrastructure projects. A strong understanding of quality assurance standards, codes, and regulations is essential, as is proficiency with MS Office and inspection reporting software. Excellent English communication skills are required. Familiarity with international construction standards and local Gulf region codes is highly valued. • Hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. • Minimum 10 years of QA/QC inspection experience, including 5 years in a consultancy on large infrastructure projects. • Strong knowledge of quality assurance standards, codes, and regulations. • Proficient in MS Office and inspection reporting software. • Fluent English with excellent communication skills. • Proactive problem‑solving and ability to adapt to changing circumstances. • Strong attention to detail and ability to review construction work for accuracy. • Ability to multitask and manage multiple inspection activities simultaneously. • Familiarity with international construction standards and GCC local codes. • Knowledge of AutoCAD and other QA/QC design software. • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects.
