About the Role

The role provides oversight and management of efficient operations and maintenance for all facility electrical, mechanical, structural, and life‑safety equipment and systems. It also sets strategic direction for the Integrated Facilities Management team and ensures strict adherence to JLL and client safety procedures. Key duties include conducting proactive inspections, updating preventive‑maintenance schedules in the CMMS, and identifying cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining 100% system uptime. The incumbent will develop strong client relationships, assist with annual property budgets, negotiate service contracts, and monitor work‑order metrics to close SLA gaps. Vendor performance, safety compliance, and quality control of maintenance activities are continuously evaluated, and engineering managers are supported through training and oversight. • Oversee operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, structural, and life‑safety systems. • Provide strategic direction to the Integrated Facilities Management team. • Ensure compliance with JLL, client safety procedures, and local building codes. • Conduct preventative inspections and update CMMS maintenance schedules. • Identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining 100% system uptime. • Develop and maintain positive client relationships through clear communication. • Assist in preparing annual property budgets and approving payables. • Negotiate service contracts under Facility Manager guidance. • Review work order metrics, address SLA gaps, and drive process improvements. • Evaluate and manage vendors for quality, pricing, and reporting. • Lead safety initiatives, hazardous material handling, and tool inventory checks. • Supervise Engineering Managers and provide site‑engineer training.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a BA/BS in Engineering or a related field and have 10‑15 years of relevant experience with a proven record of people management and performance delivery. Required abilities include exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, strong communication, financial acumen, and a solid understanding of building systems and skilled trades. Familiarity with safety leadership, project delivery, and capital planning is also essential. The position requires physical ability to lift up to 80 lb, climb ladders up to 30 ft, and perform frequent climbing, bending, and kneeling. Travel up to 25 % of the time is expected, and a valid state driver’s license and successful background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screenings are mandatory. The role is based on‑site in Singapore. • Travel up to 25% to support multiple sites. • Minimum 10‑15 years facilities engineering experience with proven people‑management. • BA/BS in Engineering or equivalent; strong financial acumen and communication skills.
