About the Role

The AI Engineer position sits within WSP’s newly established AI Accelerator team, part of the Data & Decision Science function in the Transformation and Digital Insights group. In this role you will help shape WSP’s global digital strategy by delivering AI‑driven innovations that improve how the firm operates and serves its clients. You will work closely with WSP consultancy teams and external clients across all market sectors, turning ideas into practical AI solutions that drive transformation. The role places you at the forefront of the company’s digital agenda, collaborating with cross‑functional experts in an Azure cloud environment. • Design, build and prototype AI solutions that address real‑world business challenges. • Identify AI transformation opportunities by working closely with WSP consultancy teams and external clients. • Develop and deploy AI models in Azure, utilizing Azure AI Foundry, large language models and agentic AI technologies. • Translate business problems into technical specifications and move prototypes into production. • Collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
