About the Role
The role involves safely operating a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes, performing pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, and ensuring compliance with WM safety rules, OSHA and DOT regulations. Drivers must keep the customer site clean, report unsafe conditions, and collaborate with the Operations Manager to improve route efficiency. • Operate heavy‑duty truck on assigned transfer routes following WM safety, OSHA and DOT regulations. • Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete DVIR documentation. • Report unsafe conditions, service issues, incidents, accidents, or property damage to Operations Manager or Dispatch immediately. • Attend scheduled trainings, briefings, and meetings; communicate customer requests and service interruptions to management. • Dump receptacles, leave sites clean and debris‑free, and complete end‑of‑day documentation and check‑out procedures. • Assist other drivers as needed to meet customer needs and improve route efficiency.

What You Bring
• Minimum 1 year of CDL‑class A or B driving experience (or equivalent military driving within 7 years); must hold a CDL with air‑brake endorsement. • Must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and possess a high school diploma or GED (preferred). • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking, and hearing.
