About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to plan and prepare work packages for the Clean Energy Center’s maintenance departments, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient execution in compliance with quality‑assurance manuals, company policies, procedures, and applicable codes and standards. • Plan and prepare work packages that guide corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, surveillance, and modifications for the Clean Energy Center. • Develop and approve work instructions, selecting and recommending procurement of all necessary materials. • Conduct field walkdowns to identify, analyze, and refine corrective and preventive maintenance activities. • Collaborate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to resolve work package issues. • Define required procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials for each work package. • Facilitate package preparation by submitting out‑of‑service requests, radiation work permits, welding/grinding permits, fire impairments, ALARA task outs, regulatory documentation, and other necessary permits. • Verify that work instructions comply with CEC procedures, nuclear safeguard protocols, ASME code, and other applicable standards. • Review and approve work packages to ensure safety, quality, technical rigor, and required 10 CFR 50.59 screening. • Develop, revise, and review maintenance procedures to support work package development and maintain code compliance. • Provide project management oversight for system planners or contractors contributing to package preparation. • Participate in work‑control and scheduling meetings, detailed contract reviews, troubleshooting, operating experience searches, risk reviews, and peer reviews to align with CEC processes. • Respond to emergencies, provide departmental coverage, handle call‑outs, and support outage activities as directed by management.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree with two years of related experience, a senior reactor operator license with two years of experience, an associate’s degree with three years of experience, or a high‑school diploma/GED with four years of experience, along with required access clearance and a favorable medical exam. Preferred qualifications are five years of experience in nuclear power plant operations.
