About the Role
The position involves leading integration, testing, and evaluation of RF systems such as ground/air surveillance radars, long‑range camera systems, and other sensor technologies. The engineer will provide expertise in RF propagation modeling, spectrum analysis, and system design, as well as support installation, evaluation, and maintenance of systems in both domestic and overseas environments. Additional responsibilities include ensuring effective use of fiber optics, Ethernet, and microwave links for content delivery and control, developing integration strategies for fixed‑site and mobile platforms, driving requirements development, performing electronics testing with spectrum analyzers and related equipment, and preparing briefings and reports for technical and non‑technical audiences. • Lead integration, testing, and evaluation of RF systems including radar, long‑range cameras, and sensor technologies. • Conduct RF propagation modeling and spectrum analysis to support system design and operational strategies. • Install, evaluate, and maintain RF systems in domestic and overseas environments. • Utilize fiber optics, Ethernet, and microwave links for content delivery and control during installation and operation. • Develop integration strategies for fixed‑site and mobile platforms and drive requirements development aligned with operational needs. • Perform technical electronics testing and maintenance using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, voltage meters, and cable verification tools. • Prepare and deliver briefings and reports to technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior leadership. • Maintain an active Top Secret SCI security clearance.

In this role, the engineer will serve as a key technical expert in radio‑frequency systems, supporting integration, evaluation, and development of advanced technologies for a large, complex technical program. Qualifications require a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) from an ABET‑accredited program, 15+ years of professional experience, and at least five years in RF propagation modeling, spectrum analysis, electronics testing, sensor integration, and fiber‑optic/microwave systems. Candidates must also have three years of HMI requirements development, five years of briefing experience, and an active TS/SCI clearance. Desired qualifications include a Master’s or Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, experience with military special‑operations or foreign field deployments, and the ability to enhance operational strategies in austere environments. The role is part of Parsons’ Federal Solutions segment, which delivers defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental services worldwide. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and 15+ years of relevant experience. • Possess 5+ years of experience in RF propagation modeling, spectrum analysis, electronics testing, sensor integration, and fiber‑optic/microwave systems. • Demonstrate 3+ years of Human‑Machine Interface requirements development and 5+ years of briefing preparation and delivery. • Desired: Master’s or Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, experience with military special‑operations or foreign field deployments.
