About the Role

In this role you will analyze customer needs, prepare Bills of Materials, deviation lists, and detailed product configurations, and deliver accurate cost estimations aligned with tender scopes. You will collaborate with the team manager to develop bid prices and offering strategies, participate in risk reviews, and verify commercial and legal aspects with sales and legal advisors. Continuous monitoring of tender deliverables, proactive follow‑up on scope and timing, and promotion of process feedback are also required to ensure timely, quality submissions and compliance with regulations. • Analyze customer needs and prepare Bills of Materials, deviation lists, and product configurations. • Deliver accurate cost estimations based on tender scope of work. • Develop bid prices and offering strategies in coordination with the team manager. • Participate in risk review processes following company policy. • Verify commercial and legal aspects of offers with sales and legal advisors. • Monitor tender deliverables, ensuring scope and timeline compliance. • Provide proactive feedback to improve processes and ensure quality submissions. • Ensure compliance with all external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. • Uphold Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity.

The opportunity is for a Tendering Specialist focused on Control, Protection, and Substation Automation systems. You will work with many interfaces, handle interesting tasks, and gain learning and development opportunities on potential future projects worldwide. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering and has 3‑15 years of relevant experience. A strong knowledge of protection and control products and substation automation systems, prior engineering and tendering experience, and high awareness of quality and standardisation are essential. Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, are also required. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering with 3‑15 years of experience. • Possess strong knowledge of protection, control products, and substation automation systems. • Have prior engineering and tendering experience, including risk assessment. • Demonstrate high awareness of quality, standardisation, and component re‑use. • Exhibit excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
