About the Role
The Service Account Manager is accountable for the profitable execution, growth, and satisfaction of an assigned customer base, while leading a team of project managers and technical staff. This role drives productivity, development, and retention of the team, and works to build strong client relationships that expand account penetration and achieve business targets. Key duties include overseeing team safety performance, coaching and developing staff through regular one‑on‑one meetings, and forecasting service agreement, time‑and‑material, and project revenue on a monthly basis. The manager acts as an account consultant to identify expansion opportunities, manages on‑time renewals of service agreements, estimates and approves labor and project costs, balances workload throughout the year, and leverages advanced tools to improve delivery efficiency while maintaining accurate back‑office processes. • Ensure team safety performance complies with programs and protocols. • Lead development of project managers and technical staff through one‑on‑one coaching and learning plans. • Forecast monthly service agreement, time‑and‑material, and project revenue for assigned accounts. • Drive financial results by meeting service agreement margin, T&M margin, and project revenue targets. • Act as account consultant to identify expansion opportunities and build technology roadmaps with clients. • Manage on‑time renewal of service agreements to avoid revenue gaps. • Estimate new and renewal service agreements using approved tools and approve labor estimates. • Balance workload throughout the year and allocate capacity for out‑of‑scope projects and T&M work. • Utilize advanced tools to improve delivery efficiency and reduce costs. • Maintain accurate back‑office processes including time, expense, reporting, and documentation.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of leadership experience, and a minimum of five years in the commercial HVAC or building automation systems industry, along with a valid driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, direct knowledge of HVAC controls, strong forecasting and P&L management skills, advanced proficiency with cloud‑based tools such as ServiceMax, Salesforce, and Cora, and proven project‑leadership capabilities. • High school diploma or GED. • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience guiding teams and delivering projects. • At least 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC or building automation systems. • Valid driver’s license. • Bachelor’s degree. • Direct knowledge of HVAC control and mechanical systems. • Strong forecasting and P&L management skills. • Advanced proficiency with ServiceMax, Salesforce, Cora, and other cloud tools. • Proven ability to lead projects from inception to completion while meeting milestones and financial targets.
