About the Role

The Associate Director will be responsible for end‑to‑end service delivery on large and complex infrastructure commissions, ensuring client objectives are met through a value‑added cost‑management service. • Conduct feasibility studies, business cases, and procurement reports. • Apply value management techniques early in projects. • Manage estimating and cost planning, own and present the final cost plan. • Oversee the procurement process from pre‑qualification through contract preparation. • Manage post‑contract cost variances, change control, and cost checking/valuation. • Produce and present monthly post‑contract cost reports to clients. • Participate actively in meetings and act as key interface with clients and consultants. • Perform value engineering and life‑cycle costing. • Negotiate and agree final accounts. • Lead marketing and business development within the sector. • Provide line management and oversee recruitment.

What You Bring

Successful candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree and be members of a relevant institute, with a proven track record of winning and delivering large‑scale infrastructure projects. They will possess strong knowledge of contracts, estimating, valuations, cost reporting and financial modelling, combined with excellent negotiation, influencing and communication skills. Being digitally savvy, able to build lasting client relationships and lead high‑performing teams in a commercial environment is essential.
