About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. The role includes ensuring the vehicle meets all Company safety standards, complying with state and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports. The driver conducts thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, follows assigned route sheets, loads refuse, operates the compactor, and disposes of material at the designated facility. They interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, tag unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for prohibited items, clean accidental spills, and keep the truck clean and operational to minimize downtime. Daily reports such as route productivity sheets and VCRs are completed, productivity standards are met, safety policies are followed, and participation in the Company’s ReSOP program is required.
