About the Role

• Conduct pre‑negotiation due diligence on projects, parcels, owners and occupants, and negotiate acquisition rights and Displacee relocations. • Coordinate right‑of‑way and utility issues for assigned clients. • Support real‑property projects through assessments, risk analysis, rights acquisition, occupant relocation, property management, construction and utility coordination.

What You Bring

We are seeking Real Estate Services Agent II candidates for positions in Knoxville, Tennessee. In this role you will support real‑property projects, coordinate right‑of‑way and utility issues, and handle acquisition and relocation activities for public and private projects. • Minimum 2 years experience in real estate, right‑of‑way, title, utility coordination, relocation, or property management. • Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and travel as required while communicating and documenting effectively. • Knowledge of federal, state, and industry regulations (FHWA, FAA, FTA, FRA, NEPA, FERC, Uniform Relocation Act). • Strong client, owner, and occupant interaction skills. • Effective balance of office and field work in a deadline‑driven, collaborative environment. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project (standard technology tools). • Strong communication, basic negotiation and presentation abilities; flexibility to work varied hours. • AA degree or equivalent experience. • Active real‑estate license (or ability to obtain as required). • Familiarity with databases and GIS. • Experience with plan reviews and Uniform Relocation Act‑compliant acquisitions. • Property management experience for a DOT or municipality; ability to become prequalified with TDOT within 3 months.
