About the Role
The Data Analyst role operates under general supervision and is responsible for providing data assessments, reporting, and recommendations within the assigned area of expertise. The position leverages data analysis to support and improve department workflow, customer service, and overall work quality. The incumbent prepares reports summarizing data changes and trends for management, resolves issues raised by internal or external customers, and tracks these issues to resolution in collaboration with other groups. Ongoing monitoring of workflow ensures timely project completion, while participation in special and cross‑functional projects helps drive continuous improvement. The analyst also evaluates training materials and creates or updates training as needed. • Serve as subject matter expert for assigned functions • Prepare reports on data summaries, changes, and trends for management • Resolve internal and external customer issues and track them to resolution • Monitor workflow to ensure timely project and daily task completion • Participate in special and cross‑functional projects as required • Ensure data accuracy and quality across department processes • Identify risks associated with new or changed processes • Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives • Evaluate and develop training materials for the assigned group • Perform repetitive motions and maintain eye/hand/foot coordination in an office setting
