Operate heavy equipment at landfill/recycling sites, traveling up to 90% of time.
Job Highlights
About the Role
The position follows a Monday‑Friday full‑time schedule with occasional weekend travel, working at various landfill, recycling, and operating sites across the Upper Midwest (ND, SD, MN, WI, MI, IA). Operators will work in environments that may include dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes, with physical demands such as occasional lifting of objects under 30 lb and the need for motor coordination and finger dexterity. • Operate bulldozers, scrapers, and front‑end loaders following safety policies • Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance; maintain accurate records • Move and position raw materials and finished components with material‑moving equipment • Follow standard operating procedures for equipment operation and maintenance • Occasionally lift objects under 30 lb and may encounter minor cuts, burns, or chemical exposure
