About the Role

As a Senior Sales Engineer you will manage sales of smaller, less technically complex solutions and build relationships with customers to understand their needs and offer solutions within a standard framework of pricing and margin. You will study product knowledge, improve domain expertise, and plan an annual order strategy aligned with departmental goals while achieving year‑over‑year sales growth in the region. Responsibilities include preparing tenders and proposals, leading negotiations and bidding to secure optimum profit, closing orders, handling payment collection, and providing monthly revenue and non‑financial reports to management. You are expected to proactively maintain long‑term service relationships, ensure high customer satisfaction, develop sales leads, and monitor competitors’ activities. Independently you will develop and follow up BMS projects, comply with Johnson Controls policies, and optionally promote BMS products in design institutes, industry associations, and integrators, as well as compile catalogues, conduct cold calls, and explore end‑to‑end BMS projects for the HK ELV market. • Manage sales of smaller, less complex solutions and build customer relationships. • Continuously improve product, company, and industry knowledge. • Develop annual order strategy and achieve YoY sales growth targets. • Prepare tenders, proposals, and lead negotiations to maximize profit. • Close sales, collect payments, and report monthly revenue and non‑financial metrics. • Proactively maintain long‑term customer relationships and monitor competitors. • Independently develop and follow up BMS projects for customers. • Promote BMS products to design institutes, industry associations, and integrators.

What You Bring

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical or Electronic engineering, and 1‑3 years of sales or marketing experience in direct‑selling industrial machinery. Candidates should be self‑motivated, hardworking, and positive, with strong interpersonal, presentation and selling skills, good spoken and written English, and a willingness to travel frequently. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; 1‑3 years industrial‑machinery sales experience. • Strong presentation and English skills; willingness to travel frequently.
