About the Role
The Engineering Manager – Airport (ATCT & Facilities) will lead all engineering activities for the Air Traffic Control Tower and its associated facilities on the King Salman International Airport program in Riyadh, supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. This senior role ensures design integrity, technical compliance with ICAO, GACA and FAA standards, and seamless coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, systems and specialist disciplines, while guiding the transition from design to construction. • Lead engineering oversight for the ATCT, administration buildings, maintenance areas, technical rooms, and utilities hubs. • Review and approve design submissions to meet operational needs and ICAO/GACA/FAA standards. • Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, systems, and specialist inputs for integrated, compliant designs. • Manage interfaces between design consultants, construction contractors, and airport operational stakeholders. • Support design‑to‑construction transition, ensuring technical clarity, constructability and proper sequencing. • Review method statements, technical submittals, shop drawings and construction plans for compliance. • Align engineering packages with program schedule, milestones and interface requirements. • Act as primary liaison with the Air Navigation Service Provider, GACA and airport operations on ATCT functional and technical matters. • Facilitate workshops, technical reviews and risk assessments for facility design and construction. • Develop and implement quality control procedures across all engineering packages. • Manage risk and change processes affecting facility engineering scope. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to discipline engineers, consultants and junior staff.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical or mechanical engineering (Master’s or PMP/CEng/PE a plus). • Possess 15+ years of experience in engineering and design management of vertical infrastructure and technical facilities in aviation or large‑scale projects. • Demonstrated track record delivering ATCT, CNS/ATM or mission‑critical airport facilities. • Prior experience on GCC or large public‑sector aviation projects highly desirable. • Strong knowledge of ATCT requirements, vertical facility design and integration of power, HVAC, communications and security systems. • Familiarity with airport operations, airside infrastructure and CNS/ATM system interfaces. • Proficient with engineering review tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and project coordination platforms. • Fluent in English; Arabic an advantage, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
