What You Bring
We’re proud to announce a major milestone for Downer: the award of the Property and Asset Services (PAS) contract to deliver base and estate services across NSW/ACT and QLD, reinforcing our 80+ year partnership with the Australian Defence Force. We are hiring a permanent Electrician at Holsworthy Barracks to start in February 2026, welcoming candidates from defence, industry, or any sector with transferable skills. If you’re passionate about contributing to Defence capability and want to join a high‑performing, inclusive team, express your interest today. • Hold Certificate III in Electrotechnology and an unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence (testing/tagging and White Card desirable). • Possess post‑trade experience in facilities/electrical maintenance, including inspection, repair and preventative work. • Hold a Defence Negative Vetting 1 security clearance (Australian citizenship required) and a current open driver’s licence.
