About the Role
The Engineer will oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) operations across FMM’s commercial property portfolio, ensuring system integrity, tenant comfort, and high‑quality specialized repairs while adhering to operational excellence. Core responsibilities include system maintenance, electrical and plumbing troubleshooting, tenant liaison, safety compliance, vendor coordination, and emergency technical leadership. • Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and building automation systems • Diagnose and repair complex electrical issues up to 480V and commercial plumbing systems • Respond promptly to tenant work orders for climate control, lighting, and building functionality • Ensure building systems comply with local codes and safety regulations; maintain inspection logs • Coordinate and supervise third‑party contractors for specialized repairs • Lead technical response during building emergencies such as power outages and leaks

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least five years of experience in commercial building engineering, possess a First Class A/C & Refrigeration or Stationary Engineer license, and demonstrate strong HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation expertise. The role requires excellent communication skills, physical ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lb, a high school diploma, computer proficiency, and alignment with FMM’s values of Quality, Teamwork, Integrity, Safety, and Versatility. • Minimum 5–7 years experience in commercial building engineering or facility management • First Class Air Conditioning and Refrigeration License and/or First Class Stationary Engineer License • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical (breakers, panels, circuitry), and plumbing systems • Experience with energy management and building automation (BAS/BMS) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to climb ladders, access roofs, and lift up to 50 lb • High school diploma and proficient computer/email skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and align with FMM core values (Quality, Teamwork, Integrity, Safety, Versatility)
