About the Role

Make a Difference For Those Who Make The World™ – as a Customer Service Associate you’ll join a dedicated Halifax, NS team, reporting to the Branch Manager and supporting daily operations of the service branch. You will provide organization and execution for day‑to‑day operations while upholding the corporate image and meeting established targets. In this role you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality service, managing warranties, handling cash and paperwork, and ensuring the branch runs smoothly from opening to closing. Your duties also include coordinating parts orders, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with internal audit standards. • Provide courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient service to maximize customer satisfaction. • Administer warranties and company policies while making daily operational decisions. • Coordinate and follow up on customer parts and tool orders. • Handle cash controls, returns, warranty processing, and paperwork to meet audit standards. • Maintain branch cleanliness standards. • Perform opening and closing duties, including cash register and computer management. • Implement branch promotions and programs such as the Drop Box with the manager. • Assist with shipping and receiving activities. • Build and strengthen relationships with field representatives and territory managers. • Complete tasks within tight time frames. • Follow operating procedures, work instructions, and company policies.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate brings retail sales experience, strong communication, sales and organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Ability to lift at least 20 lb, stand for the majority of the shift, and follow all operating procedures is essential. • Demonstrate effective communication skills. • Exhibit strong sales and organizational abilities. • Utilize computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office. • Lift a minimum of 20 lb and stand for most of the workday. • Possess retail sales experience (asset). • Have prior shipping/receiving experience (asset).
