About the Role
The engineer will collaborate with engineering, platform, and AI teams to implement and optimize AKS and automation systems, support daily operations, and develop tools that reduce manual effort. Responsibilities include monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, onboarding new projects, and driving AI‑assisted runbooks to improve efficiency. • Collaborate with engineering, platform, and AI teams to implement and optimize AKS and automation systems • Support day‑to‑day operations, including troubleshooting, incident response, and vulnerability management for AKS clusters and AI infrastructure • Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts for build/deploy, autoscaling, canary/rollback, drift detection, and security scanning • Monitor and automate system operations to proactively detect and resolve issues, ensuring reliability and compliance • Lead onboarding and support for new projects such as Inventor MCP automation and Inventor GitHub migration • Perform access administration, troubleshooting, and ticket management for AKS and related cloud resources • Maintain and monitor software builds, cloud images, and overall infrastructure health • Drive adoption of AI‑assisted runbooks and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency

What You Bring
Candidates must be proficient in Kubernetes (preferably AKS) and possess strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Shell, or Groovy. Experience with Azure services, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Packer), monitoring solutions, and Docker is required, along with strong troubleshooting and critical‑thinking abilities. Preferred qualifications include experience supporting AI/ML platforms, large‑scale software build and test environments, Git/GitHub migrations, AWS or other cloud providers, basic C++ knowledge, and familiarity with collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence. The ideal candidate demonstrates proactive ownership, collaboration, and a passion for automation and reliability. • Proficient in Kubernetes (AKS preferred), including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting • Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Shell, or Groovy • Experience with Azure cloud services (VMs, databases, storage, networking) • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar) • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Packer • Strong troubleshooting, incident response, and critical‑thinking abilities • Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, or New Relic • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker) • Preferred: experience supporting AI/ML platforms and related cloud infrastructure • Preferred: exposure to large‑scale software build, integration, and test environments • Preferred: experience with Git and GitHub migrations and automation • Preferred: knowledge of AWS or other cloud providers and basic C++ • Preferred: experience with project collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence)
