About the Role

Our mission is to protect warfighters, firefighters, and first responders while enabling aircraft to land, rockets to launch, satellites to orbit, and astronauts to conduct research. We are seeking a Cleanroom Composite Assembler to support these critical operations. The assembler will clean, handle, prepare, and assemble aerospace materials within a controlled cleanroom, conduct precision assembly, inspection, documentation, and support production while maintaining contamination control. Routine duties include equipment setup, calibration verification, environmental monitoring, particle counting, and strict adherence to Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention and cleanroom housekeeping standards. The role requires independent work as well as teamwork, a strong commitment to quality, safety, and environmental health, participation in 5S and continuous‑improvement activities, and proper use of personal protective equipment while lifting up to 50 pounds. • Clean, handle, prepare, and assemble aerospace components in a controlled cleanroom. • Perform precision assembly, inspection, documentation, and production support while controlling contamination. • Set up equipment, verify calibration, monitor environment, and conduct particle counts. • Enforce Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention and cleanroom housekeeping standards. • Work independently and collaboratively with focus on quality, safety, and EHS. • Participate in 5S, continuous improvement, and identify improvement opportunities. • Lift up to 50 lb, use appropriate PPE, and report near‑misses, illnesses, and injuries. • Manage traceability of components to ensure accuracy.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a minimum of one year of manufacturing or military experience, be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and hold a high school diploma or an associate degree in mechanical/electrical technology. Assembly or test experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, along with knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, cellular manufacturing, one‑piece flow, and continuous‑improvement concepts. Familiarity with industrial machinery such as lathes, curing ovens, thermal cycling machines, sanding and painting tools, as well as standard hand tools, is a plus. • Minimum 1 year manufacturing or military experience; U.S. citizen or permanent resident. • HS diploma or Associate’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology; assembly or test experience preferred. • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, cellular manufacturing, one‑piece flow, and continuous improvement. • Experience with industrial machinery (lathe, curing ovens, thermal cyclers, sanding, painting tools) a plus.
