About the Role

The Staff Accountant role is an on‑site position (five days a week) responsible for general‑ledger accounting, homebuilding reporting, revenue recognition, cash receipts, month‑end reporting, and various reconciliation tasks that support Lennar’s zero‑defect, cost‑managed building approach. • Assist with month‑end close and prepare journal entries. • Perform bank and general‑ledger reconciliations, including suspense accounts and wire transfers. • Record monthly revenue entries, accruals, reclassifications, and allocation entries. • Run ESSBASE daily to track overhead expenses against budgets and forecasts. • Process fixed‑asset runs, commission packages, and support accounts payable. • Conduct special‑project analysis and ensure accuracy of profitability and weekly reporting.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent education/experience (high school minimum). • Minimum two years of general accounting experience. • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills; JD Edwards experience preferred. • Excellent attention to detail.
