About the Role

The role’s primary responsibility is to operate one or two pieces of equipment—such as a baler, front‑end loader, bobcat, candensifier, or forklift—to transport and bind paper or other loose materials for efficient handling. • Operate baler, front‑end loader, bobcat, candensifier, or forklift to move and bind paper or loose materials. • Sort, grade, and inspect material quality before baling or shipping. • Record, label, and maintain inventory of received and distributed items using worksheets and tickets. • Monitor baler performance, respond to alarms, and document equipment downtime. • Perform routine equipment maintenance—including lubrication, fueling, cleaning, and wire supply management. • Load and unload trailers, railcars, containers, bins, and gaylords, and move material to designated areas. • Complete load/unload tally sheets and vehicle condition reports per corporate guidelines. • Keep work areas clean and follow all safety policies and procedures. • Coordinate material flow with the MRF Manager to meet shipping and baling requirements. • Maintain compliance with REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative for travel or federal‑property access.
