About the Role
The Edmonton Capital Markets team is expanding and seeking a Financial Analyst to support top‑tier brokers. This role is essential for providing valuation work and coordinating all aspects of due diligence for complex real estate transactions, acting as the quarterback of the back‑room. The team handles the highest‑end assets, serving prestigious clients, and has transacted over $5 billion in real estate. The analyst will perform complex financial analyses, develop sophisticated Excel‑based tools, oversee due diligence and closing processes, and prepare client deliverables and proposals. They will also gather and evaluate economic, demographic and market data to support project‑specific deliverables. • Perform complex financial analyses, including cash flow projections with complex financing structures, ARGUS valuation models, and sensitivity analyses • Create sophisticated Excel-based analytical tools including macro-enabled financial models • Overview the due diligence and closing process for complex financing transactions • Assist with preparation of client deliverables and presentations which influence and provide impact for the client • Prepare proposals and offering materials for new or existing assignments and pursuits utilizing effective work planning capabilities • Gather and evaluate economic, demographic and real estate market data for input into project specific deliverables

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, commerce or real estate, and at least one year of experience in finance or real estate with strong commercial real‑estate analysis skills. High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word, the ability to read financial budgets and amortization tables, and strong analytical, organizational and communication skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with ARGUS valuations, financial analysis and market research.
