About the Role
The technician will join the Operations Maintenance Team, responsible for repairing and maintaining material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging and distribution equipment across the facility. This includes both preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components. Key responsibilities include promoting a safe work environment, completing preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays. The technician will also create, assign, and close work orders, track labor hours, parts usage, and inventory, while mentoring junior technicians and maintaining positive relationships across the operation. • Promote a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures • Perform preventative maintenance on material handling and pneumatic equipment with proper documentation • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays • Create, assign, and close work orders, tracking labor hours, parts, and inventory • Mentor junior technicians and foster positive relationships across the facility

What You Bring
Basic qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience repairing material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems, and experience with predictive and preventative maintenance. Candidates must also have at least one year of blueprint and schematic reading, knowledge of electrical principles, proficiency with a CMMS, and ability to use Microsoft Office tools. Flexible scheduling ability is required. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or higher in a mechanical or electrical field, familiarity with OEM safety standards for material handling equipment, and experience with robotic operation and maintenance. The ability to troubleshoot basic I/O functions is a plus. Physical demands involve reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, using aerial lifts, and regularly lifting up to 50 lb, while wearing required PPE such as hard hats and composite toe shoes. The role requires movement across departments and floors, averaging 6–12 miles per day, and occasional computer work for 1–2 hours daily. • Meet basic qualifications: high school diploma, 2+ years MHE repair experience, predictive maintenance, blueprint reading, electrical knowledge, CMMS proficiency, Microsoft Office skills, flexible schedule • Preferred: associate degree in mechanical/electrical, OEM safety standards knowledge, robotic operation and maintenance experience • Physical ability to lift 50 lb, work overhead, climb ladders, use aerial lifts, and wear required PPE
